The BALL HAWK is a device used to develop the skill of forcing a fumble or causing a pass breakup! The device consists of a green nerf football cradled at the tip of a Hand Check Pad. A long rip cord connected to the green football and threaded through the Hand Check Pad allows the football to be pulled back to its original position after being swatted and knocked to the ground. Eliminating the need to run after a loose ball and retrieve it. The coach can position the ball at different heights and angles to simulate a pass receiver reaching for the ball or a QB getting ready to throw. A defensive player can chop, club, punch or slap the ball to create a fumble or a pass breakup. By pulling on the rip cord, the Coach puts tension on the ball to make it more difficult to knock it down. Make the defender hit the ball with greater force and power. The ball can be quickly re-set to the tip of the pad after the take-away to allow the next man up. No down time. Get more quality reps in a short time period.
